HOW DO X-ALPS FLY?

The neat line configuration and lightweight 7 mm riser, which is relatively torsion-resistant for its light weight, make launch preparations shorter and much easier for the pilot. The X-ALPS 5 has a very easy launch behavior for its class, and allows launches over very difficult terrain, even in extreme conditions. The very precise canopy feedback makes the glider very intuitive to fly, something our athletes particularly appreciate about the X-ALPS 5 and establishes rapid familiarization with the wing. The X-ALPS 5 responds directly to control inputs and turns smoothly thanks to the moderate aspect ratio of 6.57, while the bank angle is easy to control.

Thanks to the special manufacturing technology and complex internal construction, the profile is extraordinarily dimensionally stable in both attitude and accelerated flight. In addition, 2-line technology ensures low line drag, giving the X-ALPS 5 very high glide performance. The long 18 cm acceleration path enables high speed increases.
