Both in weight and size, Skywalk has made the Spice 2 a record-light glider! Of course, the team has also succeeded in integrating all the brand's innovations into the wing, so that you can confidently access its full potential!

How does the Spice 2 fly?

On take-off

Right from take-off, the Spice 2 shows a balanced inflation. You'll find the wing rises lightly and smoothly. As soon as the wing is above your head, you feel the lift. It's this last characteristic that enables the Spice 2 to get you off the ground even on steep or narrow sites in Alpine terrain.

In flight

Once in the air, this is where you discover the wing's full potential. You'll quickly feel confident, thanks to particularly effective feedback to the controls.

Particularly light at the controls, the control travel is moderate. This is what makes braking precise and efficient from the very first centimeters of travel. This new version of the Spice 2 will enable you to turn smoothly even if your angle of inclination increases.

Stability and design

Stability

Skywalk has paid particular attention to making the Spice 2 stable. And this immediately translates into an appreciable gain in performance, particularly in turbulent flying conditions. This means you'll have to compensate less on the various axes during your flights, allowing you to stay focused on the essentials

Design

Resolutely optimized for weight savings, the Spice 2 includes TX-Light fabric, which offers an excellent compromise between robustness, lightness and resistance to UV and mechanical stress. Dominico 10 D, used for the least stressed parts, offers excellent resistance and ageing qualities for its weight. A Hard finish in skytex 27 is used for the most stressed parts.
This gives the wing greater dimensional stability.
