The Hike & Fly paragliding course in the heart of Isère
The Hike & Fly course at Air et Aventure Academy combines mountain hiking with free flight, taking you to hidden take-offs accessible only on foot. Our instructors carefully select the sites and routes according to your technical level and physical condition, ensuring safe progress in this demanding discipline. A unique experience that lets you discover the most beautiful panoramas of the Grésivaudan Valley!
WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE?
The main objective is to make you step off the beaten track and explore new mountain take-offs in complete safety. Our instructors guide you throughout the process, from planning the itinerary to post-flight analysis, including the choice of take-off and landing sites.
Each outing is carefully adapted to the current weather conditions and the group’s overall level, both physically and technically. Decisions are taken collectively in consultation with the teaching team, in a spirit of sharing and respecting each participant’s limits. This collaborative approach ensures a rewarding experience for all participants.
WHAT IS THE PROGRAM OF THE COURSE?
Our hike & fly course is structured around three fundamental pillars for your progression:
- Go hiking to access the different mountain take-off sites
- Perform flights from unique take-off sites in the mountains while being supervised
- Improve your adaptability on extraordinary take-offs and landings
Note: Paragliding is an aerial sport subject to weather conditions. The program may change depending on meteorological and aerological conditions.

WHAT PRICE ?
The course price is €860 for 5 days or €339 for 2 days over 1 weekends. The fee does not include aerial liability insurance (€55).
WHEN ?
This Hike & Fly paragliding course takes place over a weekend during the autumn season.
WHAT EQUIPMENT ?
Each student must have their own paragliding equipment during the sessions.
