Thanks to advanced simulations, the ION 7 Light offers impressive stability. Even during asymmetric collapses, there’s minimal rotation, low altitude loss, and quick return to the flight path.

Performance through stability

With Rod Loops and Mid Cell Links, the leading edge remains clean and efficient – even at speed. These technologies enhance internal pressure and performance without sacrificing lightness.

Two riser options

• Standard 12 mm Kevlar risers with Ronstan pulleys and Fidlock magnets
• Optional XC Riser: for better pitch control and maximum efficiency in accelerated flight

- Seamless Rod Loops

The rods form a continuous loop, without seams or weak points, optimizing the Air Scoop effect and reducing weight.

- High-speed solidity

Thin straps connect the upper and lower surfaces at the center of each cell. This reinforces the leading edge and improves high-speed performance.

The Intelligent Light construction allows daily use, both in flight and during ground handling. The fabric withstands intensive use well.

- Stress-free packing

The rods naturally return to shape, regardless of how the wing is folded. The compression bag is optional.
