A safe and enjoyable EN A paraglider wing

The NOVA AONIC 2 is a high-end EN A paraglider wing that redefines the standards of its category. Designed for beginner pilots and leisure flyers, it brilliantly combines maximum safety, precise handling and real thermal performance, while remaining accessible from the training stage.

Advanced technical design for simplified handling

With its 51 cells, an optimized internal structure and high-quality materials, the AONIC 2 sets a new benchmark in the High-A category. It offers precise handling, excellent feedback and a smooth flying experience, whether in calm air or active conditions.

A high-performing wing without compromising safety

The AONIC 2 paraglider wing proves that you can combine safety and performance without sacrificing enjoyment. Safe enough to be used in schools, it retains enough responsiveness to accompany pilots well beyond their training: for thermal flying, relaxed cross-country, or simply enjoying the sky with full confidence.

What’s new in the AONIC 2

  • 51 cells for increased precision and stability: Thanks to a denser structure, the AONIC 2 offers better long-term profile stability, improved glide and better climb rate. Brake feedback is clearer and more precise.
  • Mini-ribs for optimized thermal efficiency: The trailing edge includes twice as many cells, providing more precise brake response and a smoother aerodynamic profile.
  • Reduced line concept: Fewer lines reduce drag and ground-handling complexity, resulting in noticeable performance gains, especially at speed bar.
  • New brake geometry: Additional attachment points ensure a more even force distribution. Landing flares become easier and smoother, with more progressive rounding.
  • Improved pitch and collapse stability: Even in turbulent air, the AONIC 2 remains stable and reassuring, reducing pilot stress and enhancing flying pleasure.

Who is the AONIC 2 for?

This wing is more than a simple training glider. It is designed for anyone looking for safe progression without boredom:

  • Students after their first solo high flights wanting a more lively yet still safe wing
  • Fans of the AONIC 1 looking to keep the same familiar feel while gaining precision, efficiency and thermal glide
  • Leisure pilots seeking a playful, high-performing and confidence-inspiring wing
  • Pilots returning after a break who want to resume flying safely and calmly

In short, the AONIC 2 is designed for all pilots who refuse to be under-challenged without putting themselves at risk.

Durable and well-balanced materials

Every component of the AONIC 2 has been carefully selected to provide the perfect balance between durability, weight and performance:

  • Skytex 38 (front upper surface): a very durable fabric offering excellent long-term stability
  • Skytex 27 Classic 2 (upper and lower surface): lightweight double-coated fabric, UV-resistant and durable, without slippery silicone coating
  • Skytex 32 Hard Finish (internal structure): low stretch and high profile stability, even after many hours of flying
  • Lines: a mix of durable sheathed lines for strength and thinner performance-optimized lines, without complicating ground identification

This blend of Porcher materials manufactured in France ensures long-term durability while helping reduce the overall weight of the wing.
