Snake 3: A competition wing

The all-new Snake 3 is a slalom wing for top competitors. Very fast, dynamic turns with exceptional resistance to collapses.

The design and testing process took over 5 years. It took so much time and effort to achieve the design goals while maintaining the self-imposed principle of "no compromise on safety".

Meanwhile, the Snake 3 has been extensively tested by the world's top slalom racers. They have achieved excellent results, often winning competitions in the PF1 and PL1 classes. The Snake 3 is recommended for pilots already familiar with at least the DriftAir, or more demanding wings like the Warp or Hadron3. Experienced pilots will appreciate the Snake 3 as an advanced and precise tool to help them win competitions.

Design

Our Snake 3 is structurally derived from DriftAir, but its parameters are similar to those of its predecessor, theSnake XX. Here are the most important new design elements:

State-of-the-art LE3D

New aerodynamic profile

Modified aspect ratio

New risers with wider speed system operating range

Optimized attachment point distribution (lines attached to the bottom surface)

The Leading Edge 3D system provides a more realistic representation of the aerodynamic profile, and reduces the amount of wrinkling on the fabric where it is most important in terms of lift and air resistance.

Modifications to the line spacing increase trailing edge stability at high speeds. These elements, combined with a carefully selected profile and aspect ratio, create a coherent structure that meets all design objectives.
