Carabiner Pin Lock Quickpin Charly

Quickpin: quickpins (or push-pins) have been used in aviation for many years. Among other things, they're used for mounting delta trapezes. More than a million quickpins are in use, without ever breaking down. The Pin Lock is forged for extra strength. The safety line prevents loss of the quickpin during disassembly. This line is made of high-strength nylon, and if used properly, will last for years.

The Pin Lock is the first carabiner to meet DHV requirements for paragliding links. While other steel carabiners fail in fatigue after around 750,000 load and unload cycles between 5 and 50 DaN, or 290,000 cycles between 7 and 70 DaN, the Pin Lock withstands 5 million cycles between 42.5 and 425 DaN!

Like most carabiners, the Pin Lock is not bent and shaped, but forged. While the bending/shaping technique weakens the material, the forging technique makes it stronger.

What's more, the Pin Lock 's design prevents any risk of the carabiner rotating on take-off, thus preventing it from working in the wrong axis. Can be fitted to paramotors. Sold individually.

Please note: due to the specific nature of this item (safety), it cannot be returned or exchanged.
