Explora 2: A High-Tech Paragliding Wing

Gliders Design:

• Moderate aspect ratio of 5.2 for a high level of passive safety
• Reinforced leading edge. Polymer rods ensure impeccable behavior during takeoff
• SVB internal construction for maximum lightness and balance between lift and transverse stress through optimized placement of diagonal structures
• Double 3D shaping on the upper surface and 3D shaping on the lower surface for a well-shaped and high-performing leading edge

Lines:

• Three rows of lines with double A risers for big ears
• The stabilizer lines, colored green, are easy to distinguish for added safety
• The lines are fully sheathed for obvious practical reasons, and each row of lines is clearly distinguished by a different color 
• The line diameter is optimized to offer both maximum strength and minimum drag 
• The fully Dyneema lines ensure consistent durability throughout the life of the paraglider

Risers:

• 13 mm wide pre-stretched polyester webbing risers remain easy to handle even with gloves or mittens
• A’ risers to facilitate big ears maneuver
• Competition handles with pegs for precise piloting. Attachment with snap buttons
• Swivels on the handles to prevent brake line twists
• Plastic inserts on the connectors keep the risers and lines in position and also prevent unintended loosening of nuts
