Effective impact protection
The NEO-Koroyd back protector is one of the latest advances in paragliding safety. It is particularly well suited to the Gin Gliders Genie X Lite harness.

- Light and thin: Compared with other types of protection, the NEO-Koroyd 2. 2 is lighter and thinner, allowing for reduced storage and improved aerodynamic performance.
- Stiffness: This feature ensures better handling and greater comfort in flight.
- Impact absorption: The NEO-Koroyd 2.2 offers linear absorption and low rebound thanks to the combination of material deformation, noise and heat.
Tested efficiency
Laboratory tests have shown that the new Koroyd 2. 2 begins to crumple from a 30 cm drop at a speed of 2.4 m/s. Further tests carried out at the Air Turquoise Laboratory in Switzerland confirmed its high efficiency at different drop heights. These were carried out in accordance with the EN1651 test procedure.
Feedback
While laboratory testing is essential, feedback in real-life situations is just as crucial. Gin Gliders has received positive feedback, particularly in the event of major impacts.
