The new ultra-lightweight carabiner

The Ease carabiner is the result of Edlerid's desire to offer products that enable people to move around faster, safer and more freely. The design team therefore worked on specialized equipment that is both lighter and safer for the user.

The Ease model is an ultra-light carabiner specially designed for Hike & Fly or single-surface flying. It is extremely light, weighing less than 22 g. It also features a new patented twist-lock closure. As a result, it's quicker to use on take-off and safer in the air.

The strength of the Ease carabiner

The Ease carabiner is made from a high-strength aluminum alloy. A special hot-forging process is used to achieve maximum strength for minimum weight. Despite its low weight, no compromise is made on quality to ensure rider safety. This model has undergone cyclic load tests in solo operation. They all proved positive.
Its compact design guarantees a small size, ideal for the most demanding excursions in the air and on the ground. The ideal tool for hikers and flyers.

Features

This extremely lightweight paragliding carabiner is perfect for hiking and flying harnesses up to a maximum take-off weight of 140 kg. Thanks to an optimized design and lightweight wire grips with lock, its weight is reduced to a minimum. But it's still really strong, thanks to a special hardening process and high-strength aluminum alloy. The unique rotary closure locks the latch for added security. It fits 12 mm diameter webbing on the harness side and 20 mm diameter webbing on the wing side
