The Klimber 2 P was born of a desire to offer the best balance between lightness and performance. It's a two-line wing whose power pushes the limits of both Hike & Fly and Cross Country. With its competitive character, it was designed for X-Alps.

Klimber 2 P: A place for performance

High performance and ultra-light go hand in hand to create the ideal competition wing . It will exceed the expectations of any pilot with a thirst for adventure. Its 2-line design ensures incredible in-flight performance: greater efficiency with reduced air resistance. Thanks to its easy, precise turns, its ability to roll tightly and its efficiency in thermals make it one of its greatest assets.

The Klimber 2 P allows progressive stalls: a feature of particular interest to X-Alps pilots. The wing remains under the pilot's control at all times, enabling him to make delicate landings. Thanks to 2-line technology and a new profile, maximum speed is considerably higher than that of the Klimber 1, making the X-Alps ideal for fast valley crossings and headwinds.

In terms of glide, the wing is comparable to the Peak 5, and it's easy to feel the movements of the air mass and take all the necessary information from them to always position yourself correctly in the updraft. The knowledge we acquired during the development of the X-One and Artik 6 has enabled us to design a pitch-stable wing that uses air mass turbulence as a source of energy.

Comfortable piloting

The new ergo controls provide more comfortable and efficient control, thanks to direct steering on the B-risers. Thanks to its light weight, it's easy to take off in all kinds of weather conditions. In downwind conditions, the glider inflates easily, and in strong winds, it remains extremely maneuverable. The stabilizers are directly connected to the B-risers to guarantee a more solid hold of the wing during acceleration. They also provide better control in the event of a complicated landing. The communicative nature of the Klimber 2 P makes it easy for pilots to understand. It's an easy-to-use glider, compact and solid even in strong, turbulent conditions. The pilot will feel at ease from the very first flight.

The lightness of the Klimber 2 P

The new internal structure of the Klimber 2 P features an optimized design that improves the distribution of forces, loads and tensions, thanks to a stronger, better-organized internal structure than its predecessor. The Niviuk teams devoted many hours to 3D simulation in order to obtain the lightest possible internal structure, without compromising on strength. The use of as many lightweight materials as possible ensures optimum weight.
